Hey guys! I know it's been a while, but I've been extremely busy again with fourth quarter starting (my homework from today's assignments alone took me THREE HOURS to do) and my birthday and everything, but today's post is really important so listen up.
So a lot of people our age (that is, teens) are either lesbian, gay, bisexual, or transgender. And kids like that are perfectly normal. They're still humans, and we shouldn't treat a friend of ours differently because they just happen to be attracted to people of the same gender. One of my friends told me a few weeks ago that she's bisexual and I think that's okay.
According to the Catholic Church, homosexuality is fine as long as the people don't act on it (meaning under-the-covers-you-know-what-happens). I believe exactly that. You don't have to agree with me, y'all, but I just think that everyone is the same in God's eyes, no matter who we happen to love.
I'm not LGBT myself, I'm quite straight (although I loathe that word because it implies that lesbians, gays, bisexuals, and transgenders are all wrong). I feel bad for these people our age who are being persecuted just because they're different! This takes bullying to a whole other level and it's not okay by me! You hater people out there need to get a hobby or something and stop making people's lives miserable just so you can feel better about yourself. This applies to all kinds of bullies and jerks, but really, stop interfering so much with people's love interests especially because you have nothing to do with them.
And another thing: gay does not mean stupid, okay? So stop saying "lol dude that's so gay" and stuff like that because you're actually saying it's happy, which makes no sense at all. Say what you mean, and mean what you say. (Yes, I realize that's a huge cliche, but I agree with it.)
LOVE ONE ANOTHER, AS CHRIST LOVES YOU. Be accepting; you don't have to agree with the person who happens to be LGBT, just don't shun him or her and maybe say hi once and a while.
